SDRC™ – The Secunderabad Diagnostic & Research Centre is a 35 year old laboratory providing diagnostic services to its clients. The diagnostic centre’s mission is “to serve the cause of diagnostic medicine with total dedication and commitment giving top priority to quality in delivering reliable, dependable and repeatable results for effective patient care.” Ever since its establishment back in 1983, it has been under the control of the present director Dr. Vijay Kumar and the laboratory has built a repute of its own.

The motto of the organization is “Truth is Life” and its NABL Accreditation reassures its Motto. The laboratory believes in being truthful in the reporting of test results.

What started off as a laboratory in 1983 then has now grown to a benchmark in the field of medical diagnostics. It was the first lab in Secunderabad and ever since, has achieved many such milestones.

• After a major expansion in 1989, was the first centrally air-conditioned diagnostic centre in the city
• The first diagnostic center in the city to start Vacuum Tube Blood Collection System
• The first diagnostic centre in the city to have a fully automated cell counter back in 1994
• The first diagnostic centre to have an Immunoassay system in-house and delivering results the same day (for Thyroid and other Hormone Tests)
• It is also the State Level Referral Centre for Lead Absorption in Telengana
• One of the first 5 laboratories in the city to be NABL Accredited
