Our approach to diagnostics

Clinical context first

We encourage patients and doctors to share clinical details and previous history wherever possible, so that reports and impressions are meaningful and not just numbers or images.

Quality & standardisation

Internal quality controls, calibration logs and participation in external quality programs help ensure the reliability of our results across disciplines.

Clear communication

We aim to keep reports readable and structured, with clear flags, comments and references to support your treating physician in decision-making.

Clinical & management team

Clinical leadership

SDRC’s reporting is led by a team of experienced consultants across pathology, radiology, cardiology and other specialties. Many of them have decades of experience in academic and hospital-based practice.

  • • Pathology & laboratory medicine
  • • Radiology & imaging (CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, Mammography, DEXA)
  • • Cardiology & pulmonology (ECG, 2D-Echo, TMT, Spirometry)
  • • Neurology-related diagnostics (EEG & ENMG)

Detailed doctor profiles can be shared on request or through your referring physician.

Operations & quality

The management team oversees day-to-day operations, quality systems and technology adoption so that reporting remains consistent and turnaround times are predictable.

  • • Standard operating procedures for each department
  • • Regular internal audits and external quality program participation
  • • Digital report delivery via portal, email and WhatsApp
  • • Continuous training for technical and customer-facing staff

Along the way, SDRC has added collection centres in nearby neighbourhoods and adopted digital report delivery, online booking and structured quality systems to keep reports consistent and turnaround times predictable.

Centres & coverage

The main SDRC Diagnostics centre is located at Jade Arcade (Corporate Block), Paradise, MG Road, Secunderabad. From this hub we manage imaging, cardiology, neurology and our NABL accredited laboratory.

In addition, SDRC operates collection centres in key neighbourhoods such as SD Road, West Marredpally and Yapral, along with a structured home sample collection service. This helps patients access tests closer to where they live or work.

Reports and interpretation

Test reports are shared with patients and their treating doctors via print, email and WhatsApp, depending on preference. Where needed, our team is available to clarify report structure and technical aspects so that clinical decisions remain with your physician.

Many of our panels and health check packages are designed to be practical – not exhaustive for every possible parameter – so that they stay clinically relevant and avoid unnecessary testing. Additional tests can always be added based on your doctor’s advice.
